Can't open restored backup files

I restored a backup of my C drive from Acronis. Some of the folders let me access everything but others do not let me open anything. When i try to change permissions it says I already HAVE full permission and access. But when i click on an image file for example it says "Photo gallery can't open this picture because you do not have permission to access the file location".

When I try to change permissions on the folder it says "AN error occurred while applying security information to: folder name Access is denied.

I have thousands of images i need to access for my business. Can anyone help me find a way to open them?
