Hi there!

Another problem with my trusty Toshiba Satellite Pro L300! :L

Starts up fine, I log on to my user account but nothing apart from the background image appears :S I tried waiting for it to load but nothing happened. (Ctrl + Alt + Del doesn't work either).

I tried rebooting using the Last Known Good Configuration which went well, that is until I did a virus scan to check and the whole thing froze... Again I tried waiting for it to load overnight but to no avail. I tried rebooting but it went back to the blank background again!

I'm currently using the Last Known Good Configuration to post this so it connects to the Internet fine and all.

Any thoughts?

Hi first try system restore.
Click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.

Then choose a date prior to the problem.
