Hard to Boot and then Blue Screen
Hi - you guys helped me with a random folder opening on start up a couple months ago. Since then, everything has run well on my laptop - but yesterday it started acting really slow and when I open it from sleep I've had to restart by hitting the power button as it won't "wake up". Then today - it was very slow to boot up and once booted = I'm getting the "Blue Screen of Death"!
I managed to get it up long enough just now to run the Hijack this on it which I'll paste below. As well - here's the specs. I'll see if I can get it running long enough to get the mini-dump file as well and will post if I do...

Can you please help?

Thanks a bunch!

One other update - I started the PC in Safe mode and was able to download the "Blue Screen view" application that requested to get a mini dump file when you all were helping me with another PC problem a few months ago (different PC) - unfortunately - when it ran - there was nothing in the log... it may be because I was in Safe Mode? I can't seem to get the PC to boot past the "User Name" login screen now though unless I'm in Safe Mode... :-(

Try in safe mode - Start > Run > Type.
msconfig
In the Start up tab - untick all entries - Apply - Ok.
Restart - will it now boot to Normal Mode?

If that does not help - try a Clean Boot explained here.
