Good lord, I am.................! Appreciate your response. I'm an ex-medic,marine machinist, refinery saftey supervisor,commercial underwater diving medic, roughneck, general contractor etc...............but am I ever lacking in computor savy, and how! At any rate I've an older model Gateway laptop that continuously freezes when online. I've managed to download a Microsoft fix it program that i have to run after I long on that helps. Media player troubleshooter (scripting registration corrupt), files and folders trouble shooter (icons randomly change to different icons). Also an Admix error continuisly say's has to close. This is probably the tip of the ice............any help would be greatly appreciated, really!!!!!

Have you ran some scans like the free Malwarebytes program....and does it just freeze when you are Online?

RAM: 1013 Mb how much memory is available to run windows after bootup? ctrl+alt+del to run task manager.

Open your antivirus. Do you see any warnings about something not working or being enabled?
