Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd., X58A-UD7

I dont believe that helps but it's done. I have not been able to run Windows Update and the Automatic Windows Update is unable to install updates. The message I get is:- Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because updates on this computer are controlled by your system administrator.
I am the owner and only user of this computer and I have administrator privileges. I run tweaking programs daily so could they have done this or is it stupid old me. I have always run auto updates but the last update installations were 17/6/2012. I have run system restore and gone back to 1/7/2012, my oldest restore file but no difference. I've run sfc.exe /scannow but no change. Any solutions, please

I went through all 19 of my tweaking programs and found the one causing the problem (I don't know how this program became a system administrator) it was 7Tweak so if you use this program check that it does not stop your updates.
