I wish I knew, this was a 'shotgun' approach. But do run and post a "new" ScanLog so we can see if anything else remains that wasn't successfully removed.

Have you had any luck finding out what Error parsing error means. I can't download a new CD and I've no idea what it means or what to do. Thanks.

According to Adobe, it may be a file association problem.

http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/324057.html

Right click on a PDF file and Select Properties > Change

Is what I have in my attachment what you see? Can you make it so, if not?

Are you able to view powerpoint applications at all?

If not, intall this:

For a file type that you are having this problem with, locate one you have downloaded; then right click on it and select Properties > "change" from the context menu. For example a file called "stuff.pdf" is an Adobe Acrobat file because it has a .pdf extension. A file called "stuff.ppt" is a Power Point file.

You should see a choice of programs which can open it. If for example it is a "pdf" file (for Adobe Acrobat) you should see what I have in those screenshots.

If Adobe is there, but not the selected program to open the pdf file, select it and check "always use"

If Adobe is not there, you need to reinstall Adobe: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

If you are having this problem with PowerPoint files (ppt), then install the viewer I linked to.

If you don't understand these instructions I need to know just where you are having a problem following them.
