Window XP Home slow 2 respond
When I double click on programs they take for ever to open. I sometimes think I missing double clicking so I hit again, then only 2 be flooded with the program opening up twice. Has anyone got any suggestions what is happening and how I fix this. This system appears to be idle and them bang kicks into life???

2 questions, 1st what are your system specs. cpu, ram, ect.

you can also go here and download spybot search and destroy. It seems as though you have a lot of background programs running while your trying to open others.

Sounds like you might need more RAM but yeah it would help if I knew the specs to narrow down the problem
