Specific Internet Shortcut on Desktop won't open. Please HELP
I have a customer that uses an internet shortcut on his desktop to access our online e-store.

He has other internet shortcuts on his desktop as well.

As of friday...any time he clicks on our shortcut..it says page can't be found or gives an error message.

He can click on the other shortcuts and they open just fine.

Had him try typing it in to an address bar and it shows the same error.

However, we can go to the page off of a link on another web site and get to the login page...(not sure the manual entry in the address bar isn't a typing error)...supporting him over the phone.

Had him delete our shortcut and then when he got back to our login page via the link from another page, I had him add it to internet explorer favorites and then right click and send to the desktop as a shortcut.

He clicks on the shortcut....same thing...

Anyone have any ideas what is going on with this problem or why it's only happening to our shortcut...???

Any insight or help appreciated.

Yes..I can create shortcuts on my machine and they work fine.

That my biggest problem..I can't duplicate the problem he's having.

He is using XP, I am using 2000. Using IE6 SP1

Thought it might be a trojan or a web hijacking but it's only happening on our shortcut....

Any ideas or suggestions?

Send him the shortcut via e-mail that you created and works.
