Bad image checksum
What does that mean. I'm running XP Home.

When I try to start my laptop is says:

STOP:C0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}
The image ole32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.

That indicates a serious corruption of that file on the hard drive. It is a system file, andWIndows has detected that it is damaged.
