disk defragmenter could not start
I have a laptop that I am having some problems with, I am trying to run disk defragmenter, and all I get is "disk defragmenter could not start". I have already tried.

run "regsvr32 dfrgsnap.dll" and "regsvr32 dfrgui.dll"
on Windows XP. It worked partially.

I finally solved it reinstalling the original defragmenter.
Go to C:\WINDOWS\INF directory,
right click the DFRG.INF file
and select INSTALL.

No other defrag program has been installed.

Hi,

I have one suggestion, as a rule Defragmenter requires about 15% of free space in order to fully complete the defrag, if you have less, it will only partially finish. Hope this helps!
