Solved: How do you change default internet browser in Win XP Pro?

I would like to change Mozilla Firefox to be the default browser in Win XP Pro. Currently the default is Internet Explorer. Now I know that Mozilla has a function to do this automatically, however I would like to be able to change it back again later if I want to. Would be glad of help.

With xp home you would look in all programs for "set program access and defaults". I am assuming xp pro is the same.

In each browser there probably is a way to "make this browser the default internet web browser"

You mentioned that Mozilla has that function, IE has it too. In IE6 (which is on WinXP by default) it is at:
Tools>Internet Options, Programs tab,
selection: "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser"

Excellent, I found the option in Internet explorer, thanks folks. An easy solution but one of those you have to just know is there

And now, I’ve noticed that in Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder options/file types tab you can adjust all the default programs for different file type's individually.
