There is no DOS in XP and you won't find it no matter how hard you look. There is an emulator within XP that can run some DOS programs, but by no means all.

You will not be able to simply move the installation of XP from one machine to the other. Even if you succeeded in determining what to move (and that would be pretty much everything), the second machine would almost certainly not boot. You need to install XP on that machine so that it can install the drivers specific to that hardware. You will need to buy an XP CD.

You cannot copy XP from a working computer and hope that it will install on a non working computer

If the other computer has an XP disc use that but it sounds like you don't have any install media and with 2 XP computers and NO install media sounds decidely dodgy

IF you haev a working computer then use that one to download the XP boot discs from MS & use them to boot the non working one to teh recovery console & fix it

AND XP DOES NOT HAVE DOS

yes it has a disc operating system but IT IS NOT DOS

Who can tell me exactly what to copy to get the entire XP operating system burned onto a CD??
You cannot put one copy of XP onto two different systems, it's illegal and we won't help you to accomplish that, IF it could even be done. Some OEM versions of Windows won't install on another computer to begin with, it looks for identifying features on the system it came with.
