Taskbar/start button missing
Hi,

Ever since my computer froze the other day my taskbar and start button have been not visible anymore. I did the ctrl-alt del to close programs down and it started from that.
Can someone tell me what to do to get it showing again?

Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the task manager. On File> New Task(Run...) type: explorer then OK. This should start windows explorer. Press CTRL + ESC or your Windows key to make Start menu appear. You can also try this repair for missing taskbar from kelly's-korner.

I'd run System Restore.

c:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Thank you!
I just followed your link to Kelly's Korner and used her fixing tool and my taskbar and start button reappeared. It had something to do with Windows Shell. Great advice.
