file transfer access denied HELP
Hi. i am trying to transfer a program from my laptop to my TI 84 Plus Silver Edition calculator. i put in new batteries in to the clac. when i press transfer it says that

Access is Denied

and gives me the error message
80070005

isnt this because of some setting in XP? i tried disabling my fire wall and antivirus but sill same thing.

i googled 80070005 and found that i cannot transfer the file because of this:

Cause
Lots of error 80070005 messages occur when DCOM settings on the remote machine weren't correct.

Solution sent in by Norbert
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Ole]
"EnableDCOM"="Y"
"EnableRemoteConnect"="Y"
"LegacyAuthenticationLevel"=dword:1

i checked the first 3 and found that my settings are right so far. but i was unable to check LegacyAuthenticationLevel"=dword:1

how do i access this directory or registry entry?

any other ideas of why i cant transfer files from my PC to calc? i tried reinstalling TI Connect 1.6. this is the software used to access the calculator via a pc. Thanks
