Okay my problem maybe a bit different. My computer has completely crashed, MSCONFIG/SYSTEM32 file correupt or missing entry... I tryed the recovery disk and the CD rom drive doesn't read it. I change my computer to boot cd-rom 1st stilll doesn't read recovery disk. I have a Toshiba Satalite a65-s1062 running XP(it least it was). I can not even get the computer to open in safe mode. Does anybody have a clue on what I can do before I go crazy here.

steve19030 Welcome to TSG....

Since you are neww here to TSG making a post in an ongoing thread is not a good thing to do. It is very difficult to keep track of who is being talked to and there are differences between computers and other things that make it difficult as well.

If you could re-post your problem in a new thread it would be great.

Thank you
