Can you get there directly from the IP:

http://85.17.42.202/

Or by using a proxy server:

http://www.guardster.com/

It may be an ISP problem then -- try the proxy I linked to.

Use Guardster -- it will allow cookies if you need them.

If it is your ISP -- they probably haven't banned it but there is some issue with the routing from where you are to where they are.

You might try doing a tracert on the address and see where it fails.

But I would talk to your ISP if it is really important and see if there is anything they are willing to try.

I haven't seen any other resolutions to this type of problem -- sometimes they just go away on their own when the ISP reconfigures its router paths.

On the other hand -- is there anything you have done that could get your IP banned on that domain by the web Admin?

Actually I'm not sure what our policy is on BitTorrent, as it has a quasi-legitimacy that is a bit different than other file sharing/downloading programs and has been adopted by mainstream vendors.

But be that as it may, I think your only option is to contact the web admin of the site and find out why you were banned, if you don't know, and try to work it out with them.

There are no 'legitimate' workarounds.

Some people use BitTorrent/UTorrent for legitimate reasons. (myself included.)

Big Bump -

Okay, I am having the same problem.....I can visit via proxy, but only the main page. Should this be a clue to me that it has something to do with my ISP (mediacom) and not my account? I really could care less, but the girlfriend loves demonoid for some reason and is p'ed off b/c she thinks i got her banned from a site (again).

this is the url i get when i try to go http://www.demonoid.com/error_messages.php?error_id=2

edit: looks to me like this is in the wrong forum, if on the right site at all.....just to let you guys know, i arrived here via google, and just hoped you could help
