Go to HP's website, they have a manual uninstallation download for their printer software, it should help you remove all traces of it.

Hopefully

I'm sorry if it seems i'm jumping in here out of the blue , but i too have recently been getting this error about no disk , but what i haven't read here is that when i get this error , i loose my desktop , taskbar and system tray , i can only alt/tab to see what i have open and at that it's a real crapshoot.
If i open explorer.exe through the taskmanager , it opens for only a short period , so i have to be fast as to what i want to open , but if i open my 'c' drive or my computer , it will close it as soon as explorer closes.
I'm running malware programs on it now to see if i have anything of the sort , but so far it's been clean.
It happened yesterday as i was trying to reinstall avg pro ,, i noticed at the time some weird things happening as it was uninstalling the old version and reinstalling the newer, but i didn't pay much attention as to what was popping up and closing down as i thought it was just avg windows , there were some messages of viral activity , but i figured avg was looking after them.
After i installed avg i ran a scan and it came up with a bunch of activex problems and some tracking cookies etc. ,, i let it clean them up and then i ran Spybot and it came up with some smitfraud problems , and some others including one that starts with a v and seemed like a french word , i cleaned them up and rebooted ,, after a few minutes the same problem with no disk came up and then the explorer problem began again.
I hope that someone out there would be able to help me out.

Thanks gord

We'd almost have to see what is currently running at startup on your system. Perhaps posting a Hijack This log?

i'd also like to add this to my post above ,, the execption problem was fixed by returning my jump drive and external drive back to their proper drive letters , but the explorer.exe stills keeps crashing on me and won't stay open , i have to do everything through taskmanager.

Thanks again
Gord

Ok, I was looking to see the startup items for THIS problem.

Please go to the MALWARE REMOVAL FORUMS and post a new thread there with your Hijack This log, Be sure to describe your problem as clearly as you can.

Also, review the first thread there for the proper procedures to follow should your post not receive an answer after TWO COMPLETE days.

Thanks

hello the same problem but after XP reinstalling I've got another message window:
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into the drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR5"
If I click 8 times it changes into Hardisk2\DR6...until Harddisk4\DR8.

Have you tried many of the things already mentioned here?

I did manage to fix it. Thanks to a post from ConieFL. Below is that post, it worked for me, the only exception is that I did not swap out any drives, but I did have a phantom Removable Disk assigned to drive G, which once I removed it I no longer have that problem. ConieFL post below.

For some reason after swapping out the drives, window(XP) recognized the new drive but also reported that the removed drive was still there.
I fixed it by going into

Control panel>admintrative tools>Computer Mangament>Disk Management

The removed drive showed up in Disk Managment as 0 bytes with 0 bytes free.

then on the menu bar selected

Action>All Tasks>Change Drive Letter and Paths

then I deleted the drive letter corresponding to the removed drive.

I do not get the error anymore.

Hope this helps.
Thank you for the fix! I have a Dell with Win 2000 pro and none of the programs previously mentioned. Mine started when I reinstalled my Lex printer/scanner which has a card reader. It also caused my scanner to hang. I unplugged the usb cable, did a restart, deleted Drive F: which was not plugged in and did a restart...no more message
Thanks again!

=============================
Greg, here is my fix:
One of the causes of this error message is a program trying to open a file on a drive that is a removable drive without media. I just fixed a users system that had this errors. The particulars is that the boot drive was the H drive and somehow (after using the system for a year) a removable drive became lableled as C, and I suspect an installed program was trying to find something that it expected on the C drive. What I had the user do was (on and XP-PRO system )to go to >START >RT-CLICK-MYCOMPUTER >CHOOSE-MANAGE >CHOOSE-DISK-MANAGEMENT and then >RT-CLICK the REMOVABLE-C drive (it does not have to be the C drive, but it was in this case.) and change the drive letter to T. If yours is not the C drive, you can try changing every removable drive letter to something further down in the Alphabet. Just do not change the Boot-drive/System-drive/Active-drive. This requires editing the HIVE, and is very involved.
The user rebooted and the error message was gone. (What I suspect is the now when the program tries to read from the C drive it gets an error that say invalid drive instead of being told "NO MEDIA PRESENT".

Done with START->right CLICK on My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management and then Change Drive Letter and Paths except on System drive.

Windows - No Disk - exception processing message C0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c
Hi just registered due to the help I recieved by looking at you messages on an error I had!

you saved me £45.00 for a call out.

I get the Windows-No disk - exception processing message C0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c error message everytime I turn on the computer!

Well I had recently installed Firefox 3 and it puts add ons on your account, well to cut a long story short - Ive uninstalled it and had no problems since - hope this helps others like it did me.

Well done everyone, its nice to be part a community.
