Toshiba Drivers
hi..

can anyone help me iv jst reinstalled windows xp media center edition on my mams toshiba satalite a50 laptop but i cant get onto the internet using ethernet because i can't find the drivers well i goto install my bt home hub and it says i can only connect to the internet by using the usb wire and doesnt give me a option to use the internet throught the ethernet wire. so i install the usb drivers for the homehub and connect to the hub using usb then i went onto the toshiba website and downloaded the drivers so i could try and get my ethernet connection working but nothing seems to get it working plus my wireless connection doesnt work ther isnt anything on my computer that gives me a option to connect to the wireless network

can anyone help me and tell me what i need to download to get the ethernet working or the wireless network working plz

please post your exact model no. (maybe found on a sticker at the bottom of the laptop)

Toshiba offers drivers for various satellite a45 and a55 models bot no a50

You would have to call Toshiba tech support for the proper disk and more than likely order the whole restore disc set, it will cost a few bucks but it will be worth it and you will get iti in the mail in a few days.

Or you can try this download SIW

It can be run from anywhere and does not install on the computer but will show all info on the computer and then get the motherboard manufacturer and part number and then get the drivers from the motherboard manufacturers web site.

YEAH I HAVE GOT THE RESTORE DISC

BUT WHEN I RUN IT WINDOWS DOESNT INSTALL BECAUSE THE OS HAS BEEN WIPED FROM THE HARDRIVE OR SOMTHING SO AFTER THE RESTORE DISK HAS FINISHED IT JST STAYS ON A BLANK XP SCREEN
