#25 | Just a note of caution! I had the same problem and using del c:\autorun.* /f /q /a worked for me. Careful using the /s switch as some articles recommend. This will delete all autorun.* files on the drive (sub-directories too)! I had some backups of CDs on my drive and this wiped files | | Junior Member with 3 posts. | | |

#26 | I also have exactly the same problem in all my local drives in my computer.
I tried the solution given by "thebest100"
But the problem to me is as follows,
When I open task manager and goto "new task(run)" , as soon as I type cmd and it takes me to command prompt window, within 2-3 seconds, my computer gets restart.
I tried this for 5-6 times, but the problem still occures.
I tried to go in the command prompt through start menu-all programmes-accessories, but there also I found the same problem.
Please help. | THIS THREAD HAS EXPIRED.
