Solved: NVCPL insists on being in startup I can see NVCPL trying to be a startup item in my config sys. I managed to get about 15 other startup items to be disabled. Not sure if they slow down my PC or not but my PC is slow.
Question #1:
So do the below startup items need to be on my startup?? They include (not sure if I can print from the screen or how so must type these...)
NVCPL
FSM32,
TNButil, (of which I am mighty suspicious)
NvMcTray,
nwiz,
NA,
RECGUARD,
Remind_XP,
PDVDServ,
hpgs2wnd,
SOUNDMAN,
ZLCLIENT,
hpaIodEVICE.
Question #2: I disabled all above for now and NVCPL as well but NVCPL pops up Enabled .... the command is:
RUNDLL32.EXEC:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\nvCpl.dll,NvStartup
It is located at:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run
a)Is it ok if NVCPL stays enabled? If not then how do I kick it out of my startup list?
Pls excuse me if this is already covered in a thread or category. If so pls direct me to it. Thx
