Question Solved: Hide protected operating system files missing
my Hide protected operating system files (recommended) in folder options is missing.
is there any way to fix that? with regedit, maybe? my pc has just been recovered from a virus .

Open Notepad .. Copy and paste the Following Code into it and Save as "Find.bat" . Double Click on it to Run it .. A notepad will pop-up copy and paste everything here

regedit /a /e %systemdrive%\regkey.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SuperHidden"
notepad %systemdrive%\regkey.txt
del /q %systemdrive%\regkey.txt

Hmm ... It Might be a Policy Setting

Start > Run > regedit > Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explor er

on the Right Pane Delete "DontShowSuperHidden"

Do the Same for

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explo rer

Download the Attached File > Unzip it > Right Click on "Fix.reg" And Choose "Merge"

you can just simply ask me to modify "CheckedValue" with 0.. big thanks anyway!
