hi everyone,i know i haven`t been around for a while,so i thought i would drop in...i was just browsing the xp section and noticed a post about xp sp3,as you can see by my specifications,i only have xp sp2,i haven`t heard about the sp3 ????, can anyone fill me in please,i would be much appreciated.. i still have to continue my NERD LESSONS !!!!!!

the XP3 is the new servicepack from april. We have already some posts about it here:

As I said in the other post, please make your backups first and check your computer's configuration: there ar problems with AMD pcs coming from HP and sometimes AMD/ASUS combination can cause troubles too:

XP3 SP3 was made available a few weeks ago. Check out these two threads which will help you decided if you want or need SP3:
