I don't like xp which is too heavy and chubby. I want to remain on win2k until stable version of 64 bits o/s comes out. Why the hell M$ is not able to make long lasting o/s like unix ? Why they change o/s too OFTEN ? O/S shouldn't be a trend. You can't change your barin too often.

BAD!
It is driver only. I did nothing with CCC. I have seen some hacks to install the older CCC on win2k. You might want to check them out.

Hello crjdriver,
I built a computer using a mother board with a 780G chip set. This chip set is based on Radeon HD 3200. Do you think that your patch of the ini file could work also for onboard graphics?

If the 8.3 or earlier driver supports your video, then yes it should work. If it does not support your video, then no it will not work.

Hi,

after running the patch application I could successfully install ATI Catalyst driver 8.3 on my Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H. It detected the 780G on-board graphics chip as Radeon HD 3200.
Even the previously installed Catalyst Control Center is working and giving the right answers.

Thank's a lot. I think with this tool you would get a lot of downloads.
