Hi, this is a first for me, never actually used one of these sites before.

Anyway, recently got a new pc and bought a windows OEM version for it. When coming to install it says insert boot disk and press enter. Once Ive done that it then goes to a blue screen where it says retrieving files at the bottom.

Unfortunetely the next step where it says starting windows, just stops. Completely. Ive left for an hour just on the off chance something was happening and after countless searching for solutions [I know there are other posts but so far have been unsuccesful] ive really come to the end of my limited knowledge/experience. Can anyone suggest any reasons for it doing this and possible solutions? Please help me! I am now becoming tempted to attack my computer with a cricket bat in the hope it will make me feel better . 8Gb DDR2 Ram
