Unhappy BSOD!!! Need help!
This last month my computer has been prompting a blue screen out of nowhere, cuz there are no other sympthoms, it just goes to this blue screen with a FATAL ERROR message and it doesn't turn off until I hit the power button. Then, when I reboot it, it stays in the welcome screen, and it gets stuck there, so, then I have to turn it off manually again. Can anyone explain what's going on, is this bad?? How do I fix this problem!!!

Is there anything other than "Fatal Error" on the blue screen when you see it? This actually does not sound like a Windows BSOD message. You might have an overheating or motherboard problem. It actually sounds like a Graphics Processur Unit failure.

BSODs will contain additional information and advice.

If it's a Windows BSOD, I can run a debugging utility on the dump files if you do this:

1 > create a new folder on the desktop and call it "dumpcheck" or whatever you like
2 > navigate to c:\windows\minidump and copy the last few minidump files to that folder. *this assumes 'c' is your boot drive, if it is not, subsitute accordingly
3 > close the folder and right click on it and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.
4 > use the "manage attachments" in the "advanced" reply window to upload that zip file here as an attachment.

This might point us to a 3rd party driver causing the error, if one exists for it.

Since almost all bugchecks can be caused by faulty ram, I would recommend you perform memory tests.

I've attached the last three minidump files... I hope it works!
Attached Files
File Type: zip minidump.zip (82.3 KB, 3 views)

You uploaded 3 minidumps 1 for the 17th and 2 for the 20th.

All three threw this error:

BugCheck 100000D1, {fe1e93c4, 2, 0, ef3afa80}

Probably caused by : sbbotdi.sys ( sbbotdi+1a80 )

Do you recognize the application?
