I would like to replace my 7-year-old XP PC (upgraded software is really slowing it down). However, practically all of my co-workers hate Vista -- buggy and slow, well, I'm sure you've heard all the complaints. I've done some research on software and hardware that are vital to my business and some are not compatible with Vista.
What I would like to do is buy a new PC and use my old XP disk to reformat and install (I have reformatted and reinstalled XP on my old one several times in the past).
In other words, is there a possibility that a new computer's hardware could be geared/specialized/accelerated only for Vista ? Do you see any forseeable problems?
