Try a different power cord, outlet or power strip.

I removed the power cord, checked for damage, and plugged it into a different outlet. Still no success. Anyone else?

Do you have a multimeter? If so, measure the voltage on the pinouts of the PSU. They should be withing 7% of the rated voltages. How did it look when you booted into DSL? Were the colors normal?

Try a different power cord, you cannot see damage in one.

Hmmm... My girlfriend's an electrician, I can probably snag a voltometer or multimeter. As far as the DSL goes, I can't boot from CD at startup! It's weird and I don't know why. I have flashed BIOS to the most recent version, but when I try, it says 'this drive is unaccessible' or something to that extent.

Sorry, I kind of forgot about this thread:

Errors connecting to the X server mean problems with the graphics subsystem. X is the graphics system for Linux/Unix systems.
