Angry Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
me to I am having an issue with my computer, i get blue screen of deaths! i read somewhere that this can happen when the CPU is jerked, I am using a notebook (toshiba satellite pro 4600) and i know where the CPU is cos i had to pull it apart to fix something a while back, anyway i built up the courage and hit the bottom of my laptop where the CPU is, and BAM BSOD saying PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

So.. any suggestions or do i have to keep my laptop at my desk where this can not happen,

Btw BSODS tend to only happen when i am moving my laptop around and not been as gentle as i should be, mainly cos the laptop is old and i plan to replace it soon but i need it for school work.

I posted this on an old post but i thought i might as well use a new thread

I doubt it is the CPU, but it's possible the memory or the hard drive is not as firmly seated as it could be.

"non paged" area usually means physical ram though.

To eliminate general driver errors, post the minidump following the directions below:

1 > create a new folder on the desktop and call it "dumpcheck" or whatever you like
2 > navigate to c:\windows\minidump and copy the last few minidump files to that folder. *this assumes 'c' is your boot drive, if it is not, subsitute accordingly
3 > close the folder and right click on it and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.
4 > use the "manage attachments" in the "advanced" reply window to upload that zip file here as an attachment.

This might point us to a non Windows driver causing the error, if one exists for it.

Since almost all bugchecks can be caused by faulty ram, I would recommend you perform memory tests.
