You can use the XP CD to do a clean install. Instead of installing onto the existing partition, first delete the partition, then create a new one. Check the reinstall Guide sticky at the top of this forum.

If you don't want to keep them you don't have to save them. Keep in mind you will also lose your Contacts/Address book. If you have web access to your email and have your contacts stored there, you may be able to import them back into Outlook after you get everything going, if not, they will have to be entered again by hand.

Sounds like the right one. There might be a read me file of some kind on the CD that will tell you exactly what the disk contains and what system/motherboard it is for.

I have the same problem. And my keyboard is ignoring it. So i cant even load the instalation CD

I have successfully reinstalled windows. Thanks for all your help I really appreciate it!!! I backed up all of my files and things are going smoothly. Thanks again!!!
