Solved: Upgrading XP from 32 to 64-bit
Hello everyone, thanks in advance for helping me out. I'm upgrading from 32-bit to 64-bit XP from an ISO file. I have my hard drive partitioned into two parts.

My question is how do I go about installing the 64-bit from the ISO, then uninstalling the 32-bit, and then unpartitioning the hard drive?

Your help is truly appreciated, as I only get 3.25 GB of ram out of 8! detected right now. Thanks so much.

Did you install the 32bit version on a 64bit machine? I don't think that there is an upgrade process from there. You can install the 64bit OS in another folder and dual boot if needed, but you will have to reinstall all software into the 64bit OS for it to function. Some software may not run properly in the 64bit, so you may have to keep the 32bit OS for that.
