Solved: Windows crashes often with blue screen and restart after that automatically
Hi,

I have Windows XP Professional with SP3. I get system crashes, I have Checkpoint Secure client/ Secure Remote. I am not sure how to fix this, some times it crashes sometimes it doesnt. Here is the MiniDump file. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Peterdiva,

Yes looks like this almost matches my scenario. But I dont see the "McAfee Installation Designer" in my McAfee installation as described in the link. Can this be because I am using a personal copy of anit virus and not Enterprise version as described in the link? Can we cut paste the mfehidk.sys under the McAfee installation directory?

Thanks much for pointing this link.

Peterdiva,

You were right, i contacted McAfee and the customer support guy updated the mfehidk.sys remotely and issue is gone. Thanks much for pointing in the right direction.
