Question New computer freeze-help
I recently odered a computer from Tiger Direct wiht Windows XP It is an Intel G31M3-F build to order Desktop. with Intel Core 2 Quead Q6700 2.66GHZ 8M Processor

I have 1TB 3G SATA II Hard Drive, MSI G31M3-F mATX Motherboard, 4GB DDR2 PC6400 800MHz Dual Channel 54MBPS PCI Wireless G Network Adapter, 20x LIghtscribe DVDRW Dual Layer Drive, GeForce 8500GT 512MB PCI-Express

I have installed my Photosmart Software but not much else except I am trying to network with my old computer and a Buffalo Linkstation wirelessly. I just realized I can not open my CS2 PHotoshop on my new computer. I tried to rip a CD and was not successful - now my mouse has serious delays and the computer freezes - a little at a time but more and more frequently.

I did not buy some of the suggested optimizer programs from Tiger Direct and wonder if I should now. I wuold greatly appreciat ANY help and suggestions.

I am tempted to download a program from the sponsor of this webiste but would like some advice.

I did already switch mouses - it is not just the mouse. It took forever to type this due to the mouse not reacting right.
