Unhappy Can't run chkdsk /f and part.mgr. says Windows isn't mounted??
I partitioned my hdd, and installed Ubuntu. I had to uninstall Ubuntu, and now I get a msg saying I can't use chkdsk because the volume is in use by another process. When I try to reinstall Ubuntu it doesn't recognize the Windows parttion. And I have a partition manager that says that Windows isn't mounted. Other than the fact that my computer hates me, anyone have any ideas? Any and all advice will be appreciated.
