 HELP! 0x00000024 BSOD on bootup Hey folks,
I have a really huge problem with my Thinkpad that I can't seem to solve! When I boot my laptop up, I get a 0x00000024 blue screen when I reach the Windows XP logo. I did some searching and found relevant solutions which directed me to use the Windows XP CD to run CHKDSK with the recovery console. Problem, is I can't even get to the recovery console! I get another BSOD - this time 0x0000007E (pci.sys) as soon as the setup files are finished loading. So, I'm at a loss... no idea what else I can do.
This all happened when I turned on my laptop from hibernation. It didnt' seem to be loading on after a while so I turned it off then on again. Unfortunately it never booted and the BSOD came up.
Any ideas, solutions, or advice would be appreciated! I really need this laptop up and running. Thanks for your help!!  |
