Under xp there is sound but under vista there is no sound

Well, if you have XP and the sound works with XP, why do you care about Vista.

wait wait,,i think i have not wel explained,...

i had vista,i downgrade it to xp

i installed the resource cd from dell

all drivers installed execpt the audio driver

What installation CD's did you get from Dell?

Did you get a driver disc for Vista and another one for XP?

i have also downloaded the one for xp but it still says something about “media”..and my sound doesn’t works ,, its drivin me crazy
