Unhappy Weird Backspace Problem
Hi all

I seem to have come across a rather annoying problem. Suddenly, I only seem to be able to delete characters using Shift + Backspace, rather than just Backspace. I have no idea why this is. I've checked out stuff to do with Sticky Keys, I've cleaned out my keyboard somewhat... I've no idea how it started and, more importantly, how to fix it.

I did just recently do a scan of my registry files and cleaned them up using RegCure (if I remember correctly). I think the problem arised a little while after that.

I've even taken a couple of the keys out, including the Shift and Backspace key, and shaken the keyboard to get any dust out. However, would a more thorough clean be recommended? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Somebody help me! D: Especially since I'm the sort of person that makes lots of little one-letter mistakes when typing and instinctively goes to the Backspace to fix it.

Thanks in advance!

Try using another keyboard to test that it's not your keyboard circuits.

Thanks, I'll try that out and let you know if it works.

Edit: Well, it's working now, with the same keyboard. All I done was restarted my computer. It fixed a couple of other problems I was having too. Silly me. I guess that's a good general tip for PC users. If you're having problems, restart first. -____-

Thanks anyway!
