I use several laptops on my home network:
- a MacBook supplied by my employer
- a Toshiba that my family uses (Vista Home)
- a Dell that my son owns (Vista)
- an Averatec that I often use (XP)
I recently added an HP 7680 Officejet Pro that connects directly to my router.
The first three computers on the list easily found the printer and work with it flawlessly.
I have tried several times to add this printer to the XP machine, but it can't find it on the network. Here is how I have been doing it:
Control Panel
Printers and Faxes
Add printer
Network printer
. . . and so on.
Any ideas?
