Question Display problem
Recently my laptop will not display the screen in widescreen mode, leaving the right hand section of the display black.

The laptop is Fujitsu Siemens AMILO M1437G

Whilst this is happening the laptop is still usable, however the screen is 'jerky' when you scroll down web pages etc, and every now and again the screen goes funny colours...I know that the right hand side of the display in not damaged as on a couple of occassions it seems to have rectified itself for a short while before reverting to a narrow diaply again.

The last time this happened I recorded the error message that was generated, it is on the link attached:

http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=293078

also had this message http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293078

Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know what is required to fix the problem?

any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated...
