Hello. I'm using Windows XP professional, and I have a slight problem that I'm hoping you guys can help me fix.

I can't use the default zip extracting utility anymore... When I right-click on a zipped folder, and click "Extract All..." nothing happens. The extraction wizard doesn't show up anymore, either. I'm not even receiving an error message. The strange thing is that I can still send things to compressed folders.

I can still extract things using winRAR, but I don't like that the default extraction thing isn't working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can you create new zip folders and add files to them?

DashXero, Go to the link below and download the "ZIP Folder Association Fix" which is a reg file.

Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.

If you still have trouble getting extract to work ...

They should be automatically unzipped when extracted from the zip folder by Click n Drag ... or a Copy n Paste Method.
