My PC boots to a black screen. I don't believe it is actually booting into windows tho. After a minimum of a 1/2 hour constantly rebooting it, it will possibly boot up just fine and works great there after? Their is no rhyme or reason to when it will actually boot up seeing as sometimes I may have to reboot it for a couple of hours straight before it Catches correctly?
Unfortunately it will Not Boot up at all now, no matter how many times I reboot it!@$#@$

I really need this PC to work and have little money to experiment on replacing different components. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a gateway PC about 1 year old.

Hi there,

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T61p with Windows Vista (SP1) and have the same problem. Windows boot up, but re-starts before the welcome chime.

Does anyone have help on this?
