Question Enable/disable USB
Can anyone please tell how to enable/disable the

1.USB port

2.CD/DVD Drive

in the Windows. i have win Xp SP3 installed on my system.

You could probably disable them using Hardware profiles but probably not what you want.

My other suggestion.
Remove the IDE cable from the motherboard for the cdrom.

As for the USB.

Thanks. The USB solution is just what i was looking for. Im sure there must be a similar way to disable CD-ROM through registry too. removing IDE or SATA cable means the user can connect it back and get it gong again.
