Unhappy Repaired PC appearance is different.
I got my PC repaired recently.
Now its Windows XP Proffesional.
I have a list of problems:

My Bottom Right Sidebar Icons are blurry when I change appearance settings,
My Start Button gets cut off at the bottom when I try to change Appearance settings,
Windows Office 2007 says I need a newer version of Windows when I insert it,
The start menu is to wide,
When I change my resolution the "welcome" menu when windows starts up basically remains the same,
The Right Click Menu Font is too Big,
I'm wondering if I can get my Mozzila Fire Fox Password, history, favourites, etc info back,
I have no idea how to get sound again, do I have to install SoundMax Digital Audio?
When I go into documents words under other documents overlap document icons under them,
Thats about it for now, but please, if anyone could help it would be very appreciated,

Thankyou, all, a lot.

I would be back at whomever repaired it and demand a fix or money back. You say you now have XP Pro? What did you have before? Did you get a license key with XP Pro? Really it sounds like a bogus install of unauthorized software. If you don't have the licene key for that XP Pro you have on there now, then you need to get it.

A friend fixed it for me, he used his disc, Instead of it being Windows XP, it was actually Windows XP Proffessional but that shouldn't make Windows Office think its not windows?

I have found Office installations to be very tempermental at times. A change from XP Home to XP Pro could very well pooch your Office installation.

But as was mentioned in a previous post, if you don't own the key for the XP Pro you now have, you're not running a legitimate installation.
