My audio is fine when I use Netflix Media Player, ABC.COM free episode player, Itunes,Windows Media Player, and Quicktime. But my Windows start-up sounds, Aol sounds, Youtube, VH1 free episode player, or any other Flash player audio is muffled.

I checked the Windows audio troubleshooter and the Active X troubleshooter and when it played a sound from each speaker 2 of the 5 speakers made muffled sounds like someone speaking under water or 90% muted.

I already uninstalled and reinstalled flash player, quicktime and real player. I've checked all the audio control panels on the computer and they are fine like I said before the audio is fine with some media players.

There are no dvd players or any other applications open.

Any ideas?
