Slowing down
About a week ago my laptop went from loading videos in matter of seconds to hours for something that lasted 20 min i ran virus detectors and that but nothing was found plus i have loads free space left i trying using firefox and google chrome nither had any effect can anyone help please.

Hello conan19. There could be several reasons for your problem (1) could be malware we will start here first. Download this utility update it and then run a scan.

Post a HijackThis log here so we can see what's installed and what's running in the background.

Just because you ran a virus scan and it came up clean doesn't mean your computer doesn't have malware.

Download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.38 as advised, get it up-to-date with the latest definition files, run a scan with it(which will take 7 - 10 minutes), allow it to select and fix everything it finds, then post its log here.

Do you notice the mouse pointer blinking when slowness occurs?
Try doing an Edit > Paste in Word... what do you get?
