Solved: I have no administrator priviledges, can't
Hello again
I ran some registry software and now I can't have administrator privileges, I don't know what happen.. this happen since I ran that program. I try to created control panel, users and I see my own computer as a administrator, but still when I run any software ask me for administrator privileges, I don't have copy of my registry, so should I restore windows xp pro or reinstall fresh (but I have so much stuff) or what suggestions???
Thanks in advance...

Try System Restore......this usually does not touch your personal data however, it does go back to before the problem with the Registry happened....you have to know the date when the problem occurred and pick a Restore Point from before that time and try it.

Here is some info on how to do it, tips, etc.

Restore also works in Safe Mode.... http://bertk.mvps.org/

How about the Registry fixing software you used...does it have a feature that UNDOES the changes made?? Some can revert all the changes all at once....did you look?

Again.....you may have better access in Safe Mode

I asked if you used Windows' built in System Restore feature to fix the problem...

Lots of people mix up the words and mean System Recovery which is wiping out everything, and reinstalling Windows and all programs.

System Restore, just goes back to a previous saved configuration, called a restore point....
