Ugh, 4 BSODs within the last hour.

It's a Monday and the computer has been off all weekend. I get the feeling this happens more often after the computer has been off.

[EDIT] Make that 5. I have now disabled all non-Microsoft services as you said to try. I'll see what happens.

[EDIT 2] Another BSOD. So disabling all those services didn't help.

Have you tried updating the chipset? Dell might have the download, or go to Intel if it is an Intel board.

I would also uninstall Speedfan since it is useless for you, and I would still be suspicious of the Adobe Type Manager File Driver.

Process running is the Search Indexer -- so you might want to disable that.

Indexing service disabled, restarted, BSOD a few minutes later.

Never tried updating the chipset because this computer never had BSODs originally.

Well it seems I have had the final BSOD. I was no longer able to boot Windows, getting the error that windows/system32/config/system was missing.

I did copy that file from under /repair as instructed via Recovery Console and I was able to boot again, but explorer.exe was missing (no start menu), couldn't do anything except launch Task Manager and even if I try running explorer.exe from there it would vanish in a second.
