Post How to change the name of my computer?
the semi-literate that setup the office network misspelled my name and the name of my company. And it comes up every time I update or install software.
How do I change this info?

Or if not that, then you can go to My Computer, View System Information, Computer Name, and then click Change.

Hello Yitreaux,
Welcome TSG

If you are on Windows Vista you would have to do another way.
Vista icon -> Computer -> System Properties -> 'Change settings' -> And you'll be able to change the computer description.
Click 'Change' for the computer name.
