Its a Sony Vaio. Understand that I have a Dell Demesion 47 that crashed, and am trying to rebuild it. After reinstalling WindowsXPPro to it, I found I have no eithernet connection, no sound, etc... so I am using a Sony Vaio laptop to download these this to a flashdrive, for installing ON the dell.

And its the Vaio that has the problem downloading...

I put it on a flashdrive. Then dragged to the desktop. Double clicked it, and it appeared to install. Brought up the DOS screen for a few seconds, then closed. I rebooted, tried the download from Dell, and got the same prompt.
