Exclamation Solved: I have no idea
Well Techies of the world, I have run into something that is baffling me like crazy.

Heres the situation:

My father just called about a computer at work. The display has been rotated 90 degrees. The mouse and keyboard are both non-responsive. They have tried rebooting a few times. They have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cables. They have looked through the monitor's menu for display rotation, nothing. This is not a computer that they can simply restore, as it is a system used at a Marriott hotel. Their IT has been notified, but he won't be out there until Monday. Unfortunately, father is unable to provide any specs as he cant log in and is don't know what the computer has in it. All he can tell me is it is running Windows XP Pro, and it is a Dell system.

Virus maybe?

Doing research on my end, but more than one set of eyes makes the search go faster

Thanks for any and all help!

CTRL+ALT+<arrow key> will rotate or flip the display. But, of course, that will not help with a non-working keyboard.

Thanks TerryNet. They got the keyboard workin, and I had them try that combo. No success. Everyone there has a restriced user account also, so they cant get into the Control Panel either. Mouse works now too.

Let's try one more time ...

Right click on empty part of desktop - Properties - Settings - Advanced. See if there is a tab on that properties window that includes rotation. I've included an attachment for reference.
