unknown Hard Error
Hey guys. I am trying to repair a computer I got from a friend. It is a Compaq Presario S6500NX. It has a AMD Athlon XP 3000+. 512MB DDR. 160GB HD. It supposedly had XP installed on it. When I tried starting it kept giving me the error windows failed to start. After trying a couple things without any results I booted up Ulimate Boot Disk and deleted partitions and decided to start from scratch. I put in a brand new XP CD in and it started doing its install thing. It then says “Windows is starting up” It goes black and then a blue screen comes up with this error “STOP: c0000221 unknown Hard Error \SystemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll. How do I fix this?
